*More About Sarah*
If you're here, you're likely searching for growth, clarity, and inner peace. Trust me, I've been there too. My hope for you is straightforward: to embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, where you'll gain the tools, insights, and courage to embrace your potential and live a life that's authentically yours.
*What To Expect from Our Work Together*
In our sessions, expect a blend of curiosity, compassion, and, of course, a sprinkle of laughter. I'm all about creating a therapeutic space that's not just effective, but enjoyable. You'll find our conversations insightful yet grounded, challenges thought-provoking but achievable. I'll be real with you— I'll challenge your thinking, call you on your BS, and reflect some tough truths. But, I'll also be your biggest cheerleader, celebrating every step towards becoming the person you want to be. We are in this together.
*What You Need to Know About Me*
Fun: My time outside the office is consumed with various forms of dance - ballet, bachata, and ballroom. My love for dance informs my view on the mind-body connection and the importance of tuning into your body. I also like to visit cute coffee shops around town and spend every moment I can soaking up sunshine.
Formal: My undergrad choices at the University of Michigan were sparked by a love for reading and writing and a desire for challenge. My resulting BA in English and BBA in business led me to a post-grad dalliance with corporate America as a healthcare consultant, a business analyst, and a product manager. Through those experiences, I discovered how much I enjoyed working on complex problems with people that had a lasting positive impact - leading me to counseling! My capstone project for my Master of Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University was on exploring strategies to help adults with ADHD overcome motivational difficulties and executive functioning.
