More About Mariah

I’m all about helping you find that sweet spot where your body, mind, and spirit feel aligned—a place that creates the foundation for a life that feels whole and meaningful. My goal is to offer a safe, warm, and validating space where we can dig into the “why” behind who you are and the choices you make, with genuine curiosity and compassion.

Together, we’ll reconnect with the real you to uncover what matters most to you right now. As your therapist, it’s a privilege to walk with you as you integrate your past, present, and future. I believe in the power of therapy to spark transformation and am fully here to help you turn your dreams into reality. You deserve a future that’s a true reflection of your best self, and I’m excited to help you get there.

What to Expect From Our Work Together

If you’re ready to jump in, I’m here to start this journey with you. I tailor my approach to you—your experiences, your goals, your pace. My job is to challenge you to go deep while moving at the speed that feels right for your healing. We’ll work together to uncover the steps that lead to meaningful, lasting change. I keep things collaborative and real; I’m here to cheer you on, offer honest insights, and walk alongside you through the ups and downs.

Therapy isn’t always easy. There will be times it feels tough and maybe even uncomfortable. But we’ll tackle those moments together, and we’ll take breathers when needed, so you come out stronger, with more clarity and confidence in your path toward the life you deserve.

What you Need to Know About Me

Acknowledging and accepting who we are—and why we do what we do—is essential to creating a life that aligns with our values. I’m here to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can feel truly seen, embracing both the parts you’re proud of and those you might keep tucked away. Helping you understand and accept your experiences, heal, and use them as fuel for growth isn’t just my work—it’s my passion.

As for my story, I grew up in a big family, where I learned the importance of community, connection, and humor. I found someone who makes my heart feel safe to be myself, and together we created a family with four amazing kids. Before earning my degree in clinical social work, I worked in roles that taught me about people, purpose, and resilience. Along the way, I followed my passion for mental health and found every opportunity to grow both as a mother, partner, and friend, and professionally as a social worker.

I have a Masters of Social Work degree and am working toward my LCSW in Illinois. I’m also a certified yoga instructor and am passionate about creating spaces where mind and body reconnect. I continually expand my skills through training in perinatal and postpartum support, trauma-informed yoga, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive-behavioral methods, and integrative mental health.
